Not much to tell here. Suddenly in mid-April I was asked what the paint colors were. Fotunately my friend and design consultant, Renee Vandeberg from Advanced Home Staging and I had been working on that. I had laid out samples of the floors, the shower tiles, the stained wood for the cabinets, and the counter-tops. Renee had a complete sample color wheel from Sherwin Williams and we picked a total of 4 colors for the whole house. The main rooms are an off-white, a bit lighter in the lower level where there is less natural light. The master bath is gray and the kitchen wall in the lower level has a darker accent color. Here is the lower level bathroom selection:
Colors for the lower level bath. Samples (top clockwise): cabinets (bead board from old cottage), white sinks, name of color (Devine White), paint sample, counter top laminate, tile around bathtub, flooring.
Except in the back hall, I had the ceilings painted the same color. That saved a significant amount. The actual painting took place when I was not there. On April 27th got back from Wisconsin Rapids and it was all done.
