The Marvin windows and roofing got delivered on Monday. The spring road weight restrictions are on so Nick had to get a special permit from the town to allow the truck in to deliver the windows and roofing. Ended up putting Kolbe triple pane windows on the main level lake side (including patio doors) and Marvin double pane everywhere else.

IMG 3331Installing the first window - a Marvin double pane over the kitchen sink - looking NW IMG 3333Making sure it is level and square. The boards they are working over were a mockup of the kitchen cabinets and counters so we could see where switches and outets were to be placed. The 3 on the lake side and the patio doors have transoms. The rest just have grills in between the panes.IMG 3348The right side of the lake facing wall.IMG 3356Installing the big center window. It is a 6 window combo, at total of 9 feet long and 5 feet high.IMG 3372Lower Level center window is a 3 window combo, also 9 feet long, but 4 1/2 feet tall.IMG 3377Windows on SE side. Master bedroom and bathroom on upper floor, Bedroom window and door outside of sauna on lower floor.IMG 3370Triple pane Kolbe patio doors with transoms left to install. Super heavy.IMG 3390There are 2 sky lights in the screen porch roof. I always felt that in the old cottage a little more light on the porch would have been nice. IMG 3393The sky lite windows open too!IMG 3453Patio doors installed - love the transom.IMG 3711Lake view with all windows installed
